This little gem is from the Amy Puchaty archives! This notable moment comes from Amy Hill's (now Puchaty) time as Director of Marketing Communications at Fuller Sotheby's International Realty (now LIV Sotheby's International Realty) based in Denver, Colorado. Amy was honored to be included in The New York Times Magazine, and loved working on the marketing team for the iconic Tranquility estate in Lake Tahoe, which was listed at the time by Tommy Hilfiger co-founder, Joel Horowitz for $75 million. Thanks to the outstanding efforts of what we now call "the marketing dream team" the property sold in less than six months after being on the market with a competitor for many many years. It is a time Amy Puchaty will never forget. Read the full New York Times Magazine quote below. "The idea was to make the buildings look like they had been there for a hundred years, with the main house reminiscent of Old Tahoe," explained Amy Hill, director of marketing communications for Sotheby's International Realty. "The art studio was designed as an elegant cabin in the woods, the guesthouse as a country manor, and the barn and gym were done in old-stable style. Also, Nevada's "tax hospitality" is a huge benefit to a buyer of such an expensive property."
