LuLu de Kwiatkowski's new exclusive fabric collection to launch September 2017 - Photo Credit: Robert Allen Duralee Group It's official, the Robert Allen Duralee Group has done it again, this time with the exclusive sneak peek of textile designer, Lulu de Kwaitkowski's latest fabric collection announced today. The company describes the line as, "Big on style, color, and whimsical boho prints." To kick off the pre-launch celebration the company is posting eye-catching Instagram and Facebook posts detailing LuLu's new collection and how to use it. The designs are fresh and interchangeable, promoting color mixing with a flair for the dramatic, and patterns that serve as a conversation piece. The line officially launches this September, but one look at Duralee's Instagram and you'll be plotting a fabric refresh and counting down the days. The brand is bursting with excitement, and even took the liberty of creating a few custom pillows to get you inspired. According to Robert Allen Duralee Group, the LuLu DK product line is "designed for the discerning bohemian, and features Lulu's signature bold, generous use of color and whimsical hand-drawn designs." You can see many of LuLu's prints here. From what I can tell, this may be her best collection yet! Today marked an important day in our history, the first time in nearly 100 years that a total solar eclipse was visible from the continental U.S. From NASA's Facebook Live stream, to the local coverage of events, there was never a dull moment watching the shadow of the moon pass over the earth and block out the sun. It got me thinking. Our world is shaped by the ebb and flow of #Gratitude. I am beyond grateful to my clients who enable me to do what I love. Sharing these #ClientStories, as pictured above, is a great way for me to connect with new business, as well as old friends, while demonstrating what Amy Puchaty Communications stands for. Above all, I wanted to drop a simple note to say... Much like the #SolarEclipse, positivity overshadows all. Cheers from this side of the moon, AP Amy Puchaty is a luxury real estate writer and communications specialist whose marketing campaigns and copywriting work has appeared in numerous print and digital publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, Denver Post, and Dallas Business Journal. Whether you're pre-gaming for a show, or spending quality time with your significant other, this trendy watering hole affords several things I look for in a "lounge" - cool cocktails, eclectic digs, and snappy service. The Lounge, located right next door to the iconic Boulder Theatre, has all three and more. First, let's talk about what surprised me the most - the food. You can browse the menu here. Who knew the little hole-in-the-wall "theatre bar" offered such tasty eats?! Their menu includes a delectable array of small plates, charcuterie, gourmet sandwiches, and build-your-own flatbreads. We ordered the prosciutto sandwich on toasted baguette with chèvre, dressed in a balsamic reduction and fresh greens. It arrived on a slate cheese board - bonus points IMO. I found the meat-to-cheese-to-drizzle ratio just right, and the sweet and savory combination of crisp prosciutto, creamy goat cheese, warm bread, and delicate balsamic greens were in a word - perfection. I sipped a glass of Prosecco, while my husband enjoyed a local brew, however the beverage menu has so much more to offer than that. Next time I'll try one of the signature craft cocktails like Rosemary's Sipper, a concoction of Fireside bourbon, rosemary simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and a dash of bitters, or the Peg Leg Punch, with pineapple infused Peg Leg rum, a squeeze of fresh lime, and cinnamon simple syrup - simply typing the ingredients of these lounge libations makes my mouth water. The Lounge also serves fine wines by the glass and microbrews, with nightly specials ranging from 1/2 price wines-by-the-glass Wednesdays, and the ever so cheerful late night $6 beer + a shot after 9:00p.m. - if you're into that sort of thing. Thirdly, the atmosphere. It's a tiny, quaint place, dimly lit with exposed brick, featuring a classic wooden bar, and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to 14th Street. The setting is warm and textural, but nothing too fancy - just a couple of corner booths outfitted with fluffy cushions and velvet throw pillows, met by a number of barstools, tables and chairs. Faint music plays in the background, but I'm sure during concert hours the 111-year-old venue would bump tunes right through the wall, and make you feel as if you have a front row seat. Another perk - The Lounge is connected to a side entrance for ticket holders to effortlessly head into the show. Next up, the service. As someone who formerly waitressed her way through college, I can vouch for the friendly and attentive service staff at The Lounge. From the chatty bartender riffing with the locals, to our skillful and congenial waitress, to the additional hands who helped refill waters and clear plates, everyone made an effort to provide us with a relaxed, yet top-notch lounge experience. See! Look at our happy faces. It was a Friday night after a long week. We are both overworked, tired, and rallying for a night out with friends, yet we're smiling and having a blast. That says a lot. A little friendliness and tasty beverage go a long way in my book. Additionally, the venue itself was, as always, a fabulous place to catch a show. The history of the building is fascinating! You can read about it here. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself. There are so many reasons to love a date night out at The Boulder Theatre Lounge.

I had the pleasure of writing about the 5,862-square-foot estate for SecondShelters.com this week, and it is arguably one of the hottest properties to hit the Beverly Hills market, clocking in at just under $10 million with ultimate privacy and breathtaking outdoor spaces to entertain. Currently listed for $9.95 million by Mercer Vine - a real estate brokerage inspired by LA art and architecture - the home has been updated to bring a modern edge to an already stunning design. "From the outdoor entertaining spaces right down to the details of the wrought-iron balconies, every element of the home has been meticulously designed,” said Mercer Vine co-founder Adam Rosenfeld, who shares the listing with agent Coley Lafoon and Mercer Vine co-founder Kyle Giese. “This home truly combines California luxury with the warm elegance of a Spanish villa.” The interior is staged by JNS Studio, while Creative Art Partners staged the artwork with blue-chip masterpieces. What do you think? Simple and understated, or dramatic and over the top? We tried to achieve both by grabbing your attention and making a statement about what we do. Over at Amy Puchaty Communications LLC, we strive to provide the most creative, compelling marketing copy for our distinguished clientele. From top producing real estate agents, to luxury brokerages, non-profits, and more, our goal is to not only meet our client's brand messaging needs, but to exceed them. With summer winding down, we thought it wouldn't hurt to add a splash of color in the line-up, much like we do when tasked to promote a fabulous high-rise, or luxury listing. But listing copy, aka property romance, isn't all we do. We create thoughtful prospecting letters, engaging blog posts, branding collateral, and yes, agent biographies. In fact, we've had a slew of requests come in for professionally updated bios, aimed specifically towards networking with colleagues. One of our most significant clients is gearing up for a global networking event, and we are thrilled to assist with many of their top agent's copywriting needs. Is your bio updated and ready for your next important speaking engagement, listing appointment, or networking event? Now is the time. Give us a call and we will make you shine. Cheers, and Happy Networking! For me that opportunity came full circle this week when I was tasked to cover former NASA astronaut Jim Lovell's Horshoe Bay lake home for www.SecondShelters.com. Tammie Bennett of Kuper Sotheby's International Realty gave me the inside scoop on the Lovell's fabulous Horseshoe Bay lakefront property at iconic 416 Lighthouse Drive, repriced to sell at $2.995 million. From the careful design of the great room, to the attention to detail the Lovells poured into the home, to the time when one of my all-time favorite actors, Tom Hanks, stopped by the Lovell estate while preparing for one of my absolute favorite films, "Apollo 13", trust me, you don't want to miss this post!
