We're moving! That's right. After three lovely years in the Lone Star State, my husband and I are moving back to the place we first met, Colorado! It's funny really, looking back. Denver-Boulder real estate agents and friends would tell me stories about people moving away. "But they always come back," they would say. Personally, we never thought we would miss the cold. The piles and piles of snow, early mornings bundling up to shovel the driveway, easy breezy summer concerts at Denver Botanic Gardens, the eclectic nature of SoBo, the Turkey Trot in Wash Park, Boulder's award-winning breweries, grabbing a slice at Abo's, sipping La Vie en Rose at Z Cuisine in LoHi, catching a show at Film on the Rocks, window shopping in Cherry Creek, sunset happy hours at Peaks Lounge, or the countless hiking trails, ski slopes and National Parks just minutes from our front door. What were we thinking? No, we thought, the Texas warmth and hospitality will do us some good, plus the hustle and bustle of a brand new city filled with fashion, arts, big homes and even bigger hair sounds exciting. And it was! Ethan and I will cherish our time in Dallas. We pulled off our dream wedding surrounded by our closest family and friends, and Dallas worked wonders for both of our careers, but after much deliberation, extensive coast to coast travel, multiple job offers and a little soul searching, we realized it's time to go back to the place that feels most like home - and at this moment in time, it's Colorado. Well, that and the fact my husband received the job offer of a lifetime he can't refuse. I'm thrilled to share this announcement, and cannot wait to reconnect with old friends and real estate colleagues who I'm hoping will catch me up on the market changes I've watched from afar. Plus, I'm excited to get involved in the community again. Hello Denver Art Museum, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, 303 Magazine, CU Cancer Center, Colorado Rockies, Jazz in the Park, Matthew Morris Salon, Denver Fashion Weekend and Denver Polo Classic. I can picture it now, working out of my home office in Boulder, typing away on my laptop, sipping morning coffee from our deck while gazing out to an incredible mountain view. Okay I will call it what it is...#Humblebrag Cheers to making big things happen in 2017! Life may throw you curve balls, but you either learn to swerve, or hit them like there's no tomorrow.
